Wow, it really has been ages since my last journal entry....and also since I last submitted a deviation. how boring of me not to upload anything for so many months. :/ I will upload more things in the next couple of months now that I have done my A-levels and once I have done my driving test and moved to Germany I will finally have time to actually start working on all the projects I planned to do. :D I bought a load of vintage sarees on ebay so you can expect to see some projects involving wonderful fabrics with vibrant prints >_< also my sister bought me some sewing patterns for medieval gowns and cloaks for my birthday which I can'

I don't really have that much to say to be honest, but my last journal entry was really old so I wanted to make a new one. I guess I'll write a quick update on the projects I've been working on etc... - I've finished my unit 3 textiles piece which was a dress inspired by Japan and kimonos etc, I won't post pictures of it though because it went really wrong and looks awful. - I've finished the dress I made for my extended project, it's inspired by the costumes of the elves in The Lord of the Rings and I am very happy with it :D I've got some photos of it in my gallery, with more to come soon! - I'm just starting my textiles unit 4 which i

A slight change of plan... I worked on a summer dress over the summer, which is nearly finished but which I haven't had time to finish off yet. I've also changed my A2 textiles project from a costume inspired by Pride and Prejudice to a dress inspired by traditional Japanese culture and the Kimono. As for my extended project piece, I will still be making a dress inspired by the elves' costumes in the lord of the rings. That's all :D
